Tom Viola is the Executive Director of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The man is Broadway’s Superhero.
He is also one of my favorite people.
I first met Tom when I was volunteering at the annual BC/EFA Flea Market. After a couple years of doing that the “name with face” thing started to settle in and I’d make a point to find him every year and check in.
He has never forgotten my name. He has always gone out of his way to make me feel welcome and part of the family – something I’m working on needing less reminding of.
I love Tom Viola, and will always, always, always say “YES!”
